MS has totally leapfrogged Unix with PowerShell. <br /><br />As a scripting language it makes sh look like the 1970s technology that it is.<br /><br />As a command line interface it's also pretty decent. I haven't used anything else for, I dunno, about a year.<br /><br />PowerShell especially good for .Net programmers. It's easy to call into .Net assemblies, including the .Net framework itself.<br /><br />It does have a bit of a learning curve. You really need to read a tutorial (but not the official one -- it sucks).
