Forget Google Apps, use eyeOS

Alex pointed me to an awesome web app that is an entire OS online. eyeOS uses OpenOffice + a small PHP application with mysql that allows you to run an entire computer inside your web browser. Try out the demo on their website to see what I mean. It's cool.

Looks really cool.

I'm not sure about the comparison to Google Apps though - it seems to me that they're really solving different problems....

This would be hosted on your own machine and you could keep docs on there that you can get online. I think that would be way better than Google docs apart from the sharing bit but I don't use that.

It is so cool though :)
